Sustainable Move Out Campaign

Program Overview

The Student Move-Out Campaign helps reduce campus waste during the end-of-year move-out period by giving students a convenient way to donate gently used items they no longer need. Collected items can support incoming and current Tritons by increasing access to free or low-cost household and dorm essentials.

This initiative promotes sustainable move-out practices, reduces the stress of disposing of usable belongings, and helps address the financial burden many students face when furnishing their living spaces. The need for this program became especially clear during last year’s move-out, when large volumes of usable items were discarded across campus.
