The Student Sustainability Collective (SSC), housed in the Sustainability Resource Center (located near Price Theater), is an open space for all students. If you would like more information, or would like to check us out, please swing by and say hello!
Here are some FREE resources open to student use:
- Hot/cold water

Food Scrap Drop-Off Program
The Food Justice Campaign has a really cool composting program for students. Students are able to sign up to get a compost bucket on this form: https://forms.gle/XY4wyHNaay9bZh9V8.
How does it work?
Students are able to pick up a small bucket with a lid to collect compostable material in their dorms/apartments. It will also come with a digital guide on what can go in the bin and what cannot. Once the bucket is full, students can go to any compost drop-off location around campus to empty out its contents.
There are a few ways for students to pick up their buckets:
- Go to a bucket distribution event
- Go to an SSC tabling event
- Go to the Sustainability Resource Center during operational hours
SSC Drop-Off Stations Around Campus:
- Seventh Market
- MoM's Cafe/Muir Garden
For a map of all the gardens, drop-off stations, compost dumpsters, and compost Big Bellies, visit the SSC's Resource Map
